Raptis, Lisa, M.D. Back

Dr. Lisa Raptis is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine as well as Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Completed her BS in Biology at the University of California Los Angeles and attended St. George’s University School of Medicine. She then completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and practiced Emergency Medicine in New York City.Through her work in the emergency room, she developed an interest and passion for palliative medicine and completed a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health system in New York. She returned to California and began working as a palliative care physician at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where she helped lead the hospital to become only one of three hospitals in California to be accredited by the Joint Commission in Palliative Medicine. She is devoted to compassionate patient care in her community and serves in many leadership positions in the hospital, local medical group, and the health plan.
